Kraken Summer Conditioning

Check out the workouts for this week! We've got 2 longer swim workouts, so settle into a good pace and crank it out! You might recognize some of the gym sets from past weeks, I want you to get good at a few standard movements and then as the Summer goes on we will play around with the rep #s and weight to challenge you.

Kraken Summer Conditioning

Week 1 (5/26/2019)

In this series, I will be posting workouts once per week that are able to be done without a coach at your own pool + gym. Feel free to do alone or with teammates! Spring Practice Starts this Week!

After a successful introductory "bring a friend" practice two weeks ago, and two "pre-season" practices during the school winter break, we are looking forward to starting the season "for real" this week.


Practices will be Tuesday/Thursdays. Please note the slightly different starting times between Tuesday and Thursday:

Brian Kent wins Award at ODP Nationals!

Our teammate Brian Kent just finished up representing the Southeast in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) National Championships in California this weekend, where he was awarded the Nick Johnson Inspiration Award. He is the first person to be given the award twice, having also won it last year. While his team, the Southeast Zone (Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and the Carolinas), did not win the tournament, they finished a better-than-expected 13th place, winning their final...
