Wildcat Water Polo is a competitive water polo club for middle school and high school athletes. We practice 2 days per week at Cobb Central Aquatic Center and 1 day per week at Cherokee County Aquatic Center. Wildcats have a history of being one of the top teams in the state. We have been runner-ups in the state championships three times (2006, 2007, 2008), and in 2017 our co-ed team was state champions! We field 5 teams that compete in the Georgia State Water Polo Association fall league. Each team is split by ability, and compete in different divisions against appropriate opponents. We will compete in roughly 15 games per team, including Division Championships at the end of September. State Championships for 2018 are the first week of October.
Practice schedule may vary by team, check out the practice schedule link. Game schedules also vary by team. Primarily we will play games on the weekend, but weekday games are possible. Must have AWP membership before the first official practice. Beginners are encouraged to attend the Earlybird Beginner Clinic before the season starts. Returning players, please come to our Summer Conditioning and our Earlybird Pickup Game.
We use Teamstuff to manage attendance and volunteers for each game.
